Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on the novella by George R.R. Martin, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, makes a daring gamble: she sends the powerful and feared witch Gray Alys (Mila Jovovich) into the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of magical power, where the witch and her guide, the wanderer Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and battle both man and demon.
