Christmas Eve in My Hometown Written by Stanley William Zabka and Donald Upton Performed by Eddie Fisher (recorded in 1951) When Carolyn first came to Oxford, she was an agnostic.
However, over time, she realized that faith and intellect are not opposites, antithetical or contradictory
When she felt a yearning for universal knowledge that no human could satisfy, God followed her just as He followed K. S. Lewis.
Lewis, was a most reluctant convert
When she resisted faith, considering it inconvenient and hindering her aspiration, she, like K. S. Like K.
She learned that paradoxes are just apparent contradictions
S. Lewis, she discovered that real life and God lie in paradoxes, as we see throughout the Bible and in the life of Christ. She discovered that faith and intelligence can coexist beautifully.
She discovered that God could fulfill her longing for full knowledge
This is a good film for those who are interested in how faith and intelligence can be “held in one hand”, as Carolyn understood.
