Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”
Story
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private detective ad and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation into a nursing home. A remake of the film El Agente Topo (2020).
These actors only get better with age and they’re brilliantly cast in this lovely comedy series!
I’m 67 years old and it’s been so wonderful to see the actors of our generation and their great comedic styles. The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets into the characters’ backstories.
It’s not really a mystery
That’s good because you have a good idea who the culprit is about halfway through. You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery because you’re just having fun watching these golden oldies work and show off their stuff.

Just a tribute to how much courage you have to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel seen in our youth-oriented society. What a lovely tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefield of aging that this series has been.
